How to delete a file/link?

You can delete a file/link on project, activity, and task levels.

Note: To delete a file on project and activity level, you need to have a user role with higher access than that of a Team Member.

Deleting a file/link on project-level

To delete a file/link on project-level:

  1. Open a project

  2. On the Files tab, check the boxes next to the files and links you want to delete.

3. Select Delete selected.

Alternatively, you can delete a file/link by selecting the ...menu next to the file/link.

Deleting file/link on activity-level

To delete a file/link on activity-level:

  1. Open a project

  2. Select an activity and the ... menu next to it.

  3. Select View attachments.

4. When the Files dialog box appears, check the boxes next to the links/files you want to delete and select Delete selected.

Alternatively, you can delete a file/link by selecting the ...menu next to the file/link.

Deleting file/link on task-level

To delete a file/link on task-level:

  1. Open a task

  2. On the task's Files tab, check the boxes next to the file/link you want to delete.

  3. When done, select Delete selected.

Note: Users with a Team Member role can delete files/links only on task-level.
