A To-Do in our project management software can serve various purposes, ranging from a simple reminder, akin to a sticky note, to a small task assigned to you or your colleagues. Additionally, it can be used as a communication thread.

Types of To-Dos

  1. General (Sticky-Note Type)

  2. Communication Thread

  3. Task Management

General To-Dos

General To-Dos function like virtual sticky notes, perfect for jotting down quick thoughts, ideas, or anything you need to remember.

Communication Thread

Using a To-Do to initiate a discussion on a specific topic ensures that all related communication is organized and easily accessible. This prevents losing important information in mixed discussions and saves time searching for old messages.

Task Management

To-Dos can also be used to assign tasks to colleagues that are not linked to any specific project or goal. This makes To-Dos an excellent tool for managing small, isolated tasks efficiently.

Features of To-Dos

The To-Do feature in Havelock is designed to be simple and intuitive. It includes only a comments section for additional information. The only mandatory fields are:

  • Name: The title of the To-Do.

  • Remind Me Date: A date to remind you about the To-Do.

Reminders Hub

All To-Dos with a "Remind Me" date are automatically added to the Reminders Hub. This centralizes management, making it easier to keep track of all your reminders in one place. This straightforward approach ensures that creating and managing To-Dos is quick and easy, enhancing your productivity and keeping you organized.
