When to create a project without DPDs/ Target deadlines?

Setting Duration for activities helps you plan better and always know how much time you have to execute a step before a project ends.

But cases exist when you would create projects without activity duration or target deadlines:

  • When the process you manage has no defined lead times and activity deadlines

In such situations, you manage project steps with activity reminders.

  • When there is no apparent connection between project activities

Usually, such projects are used more as time management tools are generic or private projects.
