Communication (comments) in the system happens only on task level to stay transparent and easily traceable.

Comments – along with Files and Sub-tasks – is one of the three major tabs you see when you open a task. It is the place where you follow the entire communication connected to a specific task, as well as add and reply to other comments.

Using Comments, task participants can escalate issues to third parties (e.g. managers or fellow employees) or request a new task deadline. Preserving all task discussions in the comments section will keep the entire communication history and save you time searching and clarifying problems. See Rules for working with tasks.


Comment files and links

When you add a comment, you can also attach external files and links. You can do it by selecting either Add links or Add files button.

Editing/deleting comments

Comments can be edited 60 seconds after their creation, but they cannot be deleted.

Note: Every time you edit a comment within the given time interval, the timer would reset and you would have new 60 seconds.

Comment reminders

Comment Reminders is a useful feature when you don’t want to forget to go back to a comment you want to pay attention to (the system would send a notification). You can set a reminder for all comments –not only yours, in a task you are a part of by selecting the alarm clock icon.
